Welcome to the North Texas RPG Convention! The NTRPG Con focuses on old-school Dungeons & Dragons gaming (OD&D, 1E, 2E, or Basic/Expert) as well as any pre-1999 type of RPG produced by the classic gaming companies of the 70s and 80s (TSR, Chaosium, FGU, FASA, GDW, etc). We also support retro-clone or simulacrum type gaming that copies the old style of RPGs (Swords & Wizardry, Castles & Crusades, and others). ANY RPG games are welcome at the Con, be it D&D 4e, Pathfinder, or something we haven't even heard of, just be sure you can fill a table with 5-6 people before you ask to have it added to the schedule...
Our next convention dates are: Thursday June 7, 2012 @ 1300 until Sunday June 10, 2012 @ 1800
Early Bird registration opens June 10, 2011 and runs until July 31, 2011. During the Early Bird Registration period, you can save $5.00 on the full Con registration fee, buy Con T-Shirts, and purchase discounted raffle tickets in preset quantities. (you can also purchase Vendor Tables & Shelves at a discounted price as well during the month of July)
Please look around, read up and register if you plan to attend. You must pay for one day or a weekend before you are able to register for a game. (though game registration doesn't open until midnight April 15th, 2012)

The Con will be held at the Holiday Inn Bedford DFW Airport Area West: 3005 West Airport Freeway, Bedford, TX 76021 (www.holidayinn.com/bedforddfwwest). We have a special rate for con attendees that is in effect until May 24th, 2012 so don't delay in getting your reservations. The direct link for reservations at the Con rate is posted in the forums.
We have 16 confirmed guests attending in 2012: (Sandy Petersen, Tim Kask, Paul Jaquays, Erol Otus, James M. Ward, Frank Mentzer, Jason Braun, Rob Kuntz, Steve Marsh, Steve Winter, Dennis Sustare, Jeff Dee, Jack Herman, Peter Kerestan, Zeb Cook, Diesel Laforce). The lineup includes several of the more important figures in the history of RPGs as a whole and Dungeons & Dragons in particular.
Game Event registration won't be open until April 15th, 2012! You must register for the con and pay your fee (either daily or weekend) before you are able to register for games.
