Northern Virginia Bead Society Jewelry Classes & Events

Dear Creative Jewelry Friends,

This meetup group is sponsored by the Northern Virginia Bead Society (NVBS). The Northern Virginia Bead Society was created in February of 1992 and initially had 13 members. We are a Non-Profit organization. Our purpose is to encourage members of the community to appreciate and participate in the visual arts through beads. We endeavor to provide a network for education opportunities and the exchange of ideas about beads and techniques in beading. If you are a beader, check us out! We sponsor a bead and jewelry Auction (May) and a full scale Bead and Jewelry show (Sept/Oct) every year!

Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday of the month at the Vienna Community Center (VCC),

7:00–Social Time
7:30–Business
7:45–Program

Programs vary from bead history and lore to demonstrations, how-to, and more.
