Everyone stood by the cafe next to a row of books.  We looked around and never thought to check outside.  Books a Million was huge.  I can't believe I didn't think to check the outside.  We went to find a place to sit in the back corner by the magazines.  It was the only place that had a place to sit.  The cafe was full and again I don't know why I didn't think about outside.  We stood there quite awhile.  I didn't see one familiar face, and surely we know each other well enough to recognize one another.  I was late as it was.

Okay, now I'm really confused.

I was at Books a Million with Bill on the patio right out front from about 2:40 until 4 o'clock.  I got home just now and there's a message from Kathy saying, where I am, you all are at Books a Million and can't find me?

Several times I walked thru the coffee area and didn't see you, Kathy, or anyone else who wasn't a UWF student.  Where were you?  And how did you walk past me out front without seeing me?

I was pretty annoyed that I hadn't heard from anyone to say they couldn't come and I'd come all the way from Navarre specifically for this meeting.  Now, obviously, you were there, but where?

Obviously, we'll have to come up with some guidelines about where to meet people.  Like, well, right out front where it's pretty much impossible to miss anyone.  Although...oh well.

Somebody please let me know where you were.  I walked thru the cafe area 2 or three times.  Figured, if anyone was there, they'd be where someone could find them and not hidden in the stacks.
