Do you want to create your own 3D print but don’t know how to 3D model? Are you ready to learn how to use a CAD package and create your own designs?

CreateSpace London will host an introduction to 3D modelling with Autodesk Fusion 360, a 3D package free for hobbyists and often used in 3D printing. The event will be run by Paul Sohi, product design expert of Autodesk and Fusion 360 evangelist.

After the session, you should have a basic grip on Fusion 360.

Fusion 360 is a FREE 3D design package created by Autodesk for hobbyist, students and start up companies. It’s a professional and easy to use package, which combines parametric mechanical design with easy to use freeform modelling tools. You can easily export your designs made in Fusion 360 and materialise them on a 3D printer or create a slick render of your design, with the help of the built in render engine.

Important: Requirements

You will need to bring your own laptop with a 64 bit OS(Mac/Windows) with an installed copy of Fusion 360 and an activated account. Please do this before you come to the session. Also bring an external mouse for your laptop.

If you have problems during the installation process or general Fusion 360 questions, contact Paul through Twitter @fuseps.
