Attention NW Philly socialites! There’s plenty to see and do here in Chestnut Hill, Manayunk, Mt. Airy, East Falls, Roxborough, West Oak Lane, Germantown and the 'burbs just outside the city. Instead of dealing with the crowds, the traffic, and the parking (tickets!) in Center City, stay local and socialize in your own 'hood. For now, we’ll focus on outdoor activities and perhaps add some indoor ones. On weekends, we do venture into other parts of the city. We've got a good group of quality people who go out to make & meet friends. We can always use a few more!

A few fine points...

• Solo Headshot Photos - Crop your photo to a headshot (zoom in on your face, without anyone else in the photo). It really helps to be recognizable at events from the Meetup mobile app, where your face will be the size of an Advil.

• Real Names - A first name with a last initial, please.

• RSVPs - To minimize no-shows, our group uses a comment-to-attend system. Besides just clicking "Yes", you also need to post a comment on the event page that you're attending. If you're not attending, change your RSVP to avoid being counted as a no-show. Three no-shows will get you removed from the group.
