Its a Mystery

Its a Mystery why we do these kind of hikes. Mystery Trail is another of my favorite hikes/ climbs. We will start with another unknown lost trail , Russ Jolley, then go up the hill till we intersect the Rock of Ages trail near the top. From there we will climb down the Mystery trail.

You must have a climbing harness and a belay device to do this hike. We will be rappelling at least 4 times. Rope work takes time so I have to limit to 8 people this time.

Rock climbing helmet is optional but not a bad idea

This is a rough hike please if you have problems with being off trail, in brush and mud, on exposed cliffs this is not the hike for you.

You need to know how to RAPPELL.

Distance 8 miles or close to it.

Difficulty is extreme

Bring the usual stuff for a day outing.

Don't plan on being back by 4

Katya has a spot if she can get a day off.

Also could use a strong lad or lass to carry the 70 meter rope of about 10 pounds extra weight. I am a lightweight. ha!!

I forgot to add that Mystery trail is one of the few hikes that has a register on it. We will add our names to this years list.
