How familiar are you with Haskell?

My intro CS course was taught in Haskell, and I once had to port Kiselyov's iteratees to OCaml for a project. So, not really familiar. Especially confused by type classes, point-free style, and Core.

Why Haskell?

I feel like Haskell encourages me to think at a higher level of abstraction and to understand the minimal premises needed to make certain operations work. Also, the compiler is bizarre!

EMT with a CS degree. Currently working through Okasaki's data structures book in OCaml.
