I am developing a software product for a chronic disease and I hope to gain healthcare and technology insights that will assist me and through collaboration foster the development of complementary advancements in healthcare solutions.
My relevant technology expertise began with my directing Software Technology for Exxon after which I was VP of Development for a 4GL start-up. I was CTO for IBM's healthcare software partnership with Baxter which got me into healthcare software development. I consulted at a number of leading healthcare organizations and as Principal at CSC I was on the Outsourcing Team serving St. Vincents Catholic Medical Centers and subsequently joined them as Director of IT. At SVCMC I implemented a system monitoring the daily health status of heart, diabetes and other chronic disease patients.
My contractual commitments were for proprietary 4GL technology and during my employment with CSC which have long ago expired.
I am actively pursuing physician healthcare practices and physician receptivity to change, sensor, Smartphone and web technologies relative to tentative platform architectures.
I and my wife have lived and worked in Manhattan for more than 20 years, have a 19 year-old son starting at Johns Hopkins and 3 children and 6 grandchildren in Chicago, DC & Santa Cruz. Most recently I have been consulting in healthcare technology.
I am enthused by the energy, knowledge and collaboration of the group.
