IAWTV NYC Webseries Writers Group (Feb 2012)

Details
Hi there Webseries Writers, Creators, Actors, and Others,
We are so very excited to continue the start of an energetic and inspiring 2012!
http://ht.ly/2CTnI... (http://ht.ly/2CTnI)
Basically, they take the form of table reads of 10 pages of web episodes and notes given afterwards in a group format. The mission is to: nurture and develop the Writing of web series, by allowing writers to hear their words read from different actors with different voices while receiving constructive feedback. We’d like to keep it casual and fun and will limit attendance to just the writers and actors and a few observer spots, depending upon response.
Following are the format and submission requirements: Workflow
Each writer will bring in 12 copies of his/her material for a cold read performed by the actors. Each individual session will start with the Writer "casting" the roles of his/her episode with the actors in the session, any direction notes will be told to the actors here. The script will then be cold read and performed by the actors, while all the writers observe and write notes on the printed material. After the reading, the group will give constructive notes as they see fit. Upon completion of the notes session, all printed material will be given back to the writer and the next session will begin. Note: Participants involved with the submitted material (attached as an actor or producer, etc.) cannot read on their own scripts. Only registered actors from the session may be used for the readers.
Submissions
If you are a Writer with material to be read please reply with... (6 total slots) - Writing Partners are ok. Your confirmation that you will be attending as a writer The name (can be tentative "Writer X's Webseries") of your project Include an approx page count with your submission and a male/female character count. If episodes are short, submitting multiple episodes is acceptable as long as total page count is no more than 10.
