Bar Meetup & Brit Meetup Birthday Party! (We will be 9 years old)
Come and celebrate our 9th birthday! YES, we can hardly believe this group has been going for 9 years. Lots of memories, friendships, love and much more has been found through this group.
We will supply the cake, balloons and will be holding a special birthday raffle.
$5 suggested donation includes cake, special birthday BAB shot and raffle tickets!
We have the party room upstairs booked for us, so come upstairs and look out for the union jack flag.

Bonkers Conkers was the hit of the Great British Beer Festival a few years ago. It's only available in September.

Oonaas usual the same people spoke with their friends, found my friends on their own so I introduced them to each other!

Dorothy Kahnthis was my first exerience and I found I didn't have the right approach to enter the general conversation, I'm working on it. I bought raffle tickets and then retreated to the pub's dining area [with good sightlines to the meetup] and ate some, rather good fish and chips. I left my name and e-mail with the organiser and I'll be attending future meetings with, I hope, some better tactics for making contacts.
