Russell Bradberry is the Principal Architect at SimpleReach where he is responsible for architecting and building out highly scalable data solutions. He has put into market a wide range of products including a real time bidding ad server, a rich media ad management tool, a content recommendation system and most recently a real time social intelligence platform. He is also the author of the NodeJS Cassandra driver "Helenus" and a DataStax Apache Cassandra MVP.

In his spare time, he authored Cassandra High Performance Cookbook for both fun and homage.

Jonathan is CTO and co-founder at DataStax. Prior to DataStax, Jonathan worked extensively with Apache Cassandra while employed at Racksace. Prior to Rackspace, Jonathan built a multi-petabyte, scalable storage system based on Reed-Solomon encoding for backup provider Mozy.

Dave Finnegan, Sales Engineer at DataStax

Dave Finnegan is a Sales Engineer at DataStax. Prior to DataStax Dave worked at a variety of software startups in a Field Sales capacity and before that as a system-level C programmer writing interprocess communication, and distributed computing software.

Eric Lubow, CTO of SimpleReach, began his career building secure systems at Guardian Digital before joining, where he developed and ran their ad systems. After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Information Systems, Eric did multiple tours with the U.S. Army including serving in Iraq as a Lieutenant and Albania as a Captain. He is a board advisor for the charity for pediatric brain tumors, a mixed martial artist, motorcyclist, and seasoned skydiver.

Brian O'Neill (@boneill42) , Lead Architect at Health Market Science

Brian O'Neill is Lead Architect at Health Market Science(HMS) where he heads design and development of their Master Data Management (MDM) solution and Big Data platform that targets the Healthcare space, powered by Storm and Cassandra. He leads and contributes to multiple open-source projects that extend Cassandra and integrate it with full-text indexing engines and event processing frameworks. Brian is author of the Dzone reference card on Cassandra, and was selected as a Datastax MVP for Cassandra. In the past, Brian has contributed to expert groups within the JCP and has patents in artificial intelligence and context-based discovery. He holds a B.S. in C.S. from Brown University.

Matt Pfeil (@mattz62) , VP of Customer Solutions at DataStax

Matt is VP of Customer Solutions and co-founder at DataStax. Prior to DataStax, Matt built and managed the Email and Apps infrastructure development group at Rackspace. Prior to Rackspace, Matt was at where he worked in various management roles in infrastructure and scalability. Matt holds a BS from Virginia Tech in Computer Science.
