D&D meetup: places to play!

Hello all you D&D meetup members. It's always been hard to find places to play. Especially if you want to set up your own game and you don't want to do it in your own apt.

Fat Cat, a bar in Greenwich Village that has tons of space, is very friendly towards us D&D players. I've played there before and a couple other groups do too. It's perfect on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, very empty. It's hard to portray how large this place is, but it's huge! I like it a lot, it's one of my favorite places in the city and I play ping pong there too. Please see this letter they wrote me, I'm forwarding it to you.

Subject: Fat Cat Welcomes all Dungeon Masters!

Hey James,

I'd like to extend a greeting to you and your group from Fat
Cat Jazz & Billiards in the West Village.

If you're not familiar with us, Fat Cat is one of downtown's
favorite locales for gaming, drinking, live music, and just
hanging out. And I'm contacting you because I think your Meetup
group would benefit from having a place like Fat Cat to meet.
We're both conveniently located and well-equipped with space
for a group of any size. Whether you want a more intimate,
moody atmosphere with couches and low music or a well-lit group
of tables by the bar, we've got the set-up and vibe that suits
your group best.

Plus, with 25 pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, and foosball
tables, a plethora of tables for chess, checkers, Scrabble,
backgammon, go, Mah Jong, and more, we are one of the city's
top gaming venues. Throw in the nightly live jazz, $6 pints
(and $3 PBRs), and oodles of space for lounging around, one
couldn't find a better place for any type gathering. And if you
come by any day before 6:30, you'll pay no cover.

We welcome all kinds of groups looking for a place to meet up.
If you'd like to plan a gathering Fat Cat, please feel free to
call us and let us know! We'll be happy to reserve pool or ping
pong tables if you're feeling competitive, or regular tables
for a more intimate set-up. You are, of course, also welcome to
swing by unannounced, at your convenience.

You can find out more about Fat Cat at www.fatcatmusic.org or
by calling[masked]-6056.

Hope to see you soon!
-Fat Cat
