One time Dungeon Delve type thing

I'm throwing this out there to see if anyone has any interest in something like this. It could be a regular thing if it turns out to be fun.

I have a difficult time meeting everyone who comes to the meetups, even being the organizer. I'd like to do a fun event where the players switch tables often so everyone gets to meet everyone else.

Ok here's the idea.
We set up several encounters that each take an hour to run. Similar to a Dungeon Delve (if not the exact same thing). There will be a different encounter at each table. It will be timed like an old school D&D tournament. Each player will be able to win points for achieving different goals in the encounters(not just killing). After each encounter the players will go to a different table and complete a different encounter with a different DM.

There will be a set number of pre-generated characters for the whole event. Each player will be randomly assigned one before the event and keep the character for the whole event. I guess you could trade with someone else at the beginning if people wanted to. Each player will get a unique number and that number determines which order you go to the tables at. This way we make sure there will be a balanced party at each table and that everyone gets to meet everyone else.

For example: before the event you would get an e-mail saying you get to play the Elf Fighter and your number is 56. We would tell you because you are player 56 it means you take your Elf Fighter to table 3 first then table 1 and finally table 2. We would make sure that there was only one fighter at a time per table you just worry about which table to go to next.

We could even make one encounter PvP, player vs player action. Two teams would fight on the board and be refereed by a DM.

Go here and vote in the poll, while you're at it vote for the other poll, what version you're playing 4th or 3.5.
