Details
Please join us for the first NY Kid Tech Meetup of 2016!
Our topic: Kids Who Code
Join us as we learn about Scratch, the free programming language for kids developed by a team at MIT, from the young people who use it every day.
Zach, 12, has been using Scratch since its inception and will provide insight into how he uses it, what he's created with the tool, and give feedback on its appeal.
Amy Kraft has been teaching Scratch to elementary age kids for the past year. She will showcase how students including her daughter have been using Scratch as an art creation tool.
The presentation will begin promptly at 7pm, and as always, we will have time for introductions and networking!
