First Gathering of the Wandering Minds
This will be a first gathering, and will be focused on extracting from our community an understanding of the types of events we should offer and a great intimate networking opportunity.
For inspiration, we will be joined by Kevin Bluer (http://www.bluer.com/) who will be sharing his highlights (and lowlights) from last year's Mongol Rally attempt…a drive from the UK to Mongolia, including France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Siberia.
We have limited space, so please make sure if you RSVP that you will be attending, you indeed show up.

Great turn out and participation from everyone! Far exceeded my highest expectations! -
Britany RobinsonLearning about the Mongol Rally definitely fired up my travel bug and left me wondering if I could learn to change a tire and experience trip like that myself... I'd love to hear more inspirational stories like this one. Next time, maybe we can pick an aspect of travel writing to focus on? It would be great to hear from people who are more seasoned in the field and have experience with pitching and landing bylines.
