I hope everyone is safe

Good afternoon everyone,

I write on a day that may carry very many mixed emotions for everyone. For some relief, for others grief, maybe some nervousness because we might be away from home. I do hope, however, that everyone is safe. I know a lot of you live in areas that were greatly affected to by the storm and I can only hope you're doing well and that you managed to stay well during the storm.

I am currently displaced but well accompanied, having left during the weekend and making it back to NYC just in time to catch the last train from JFK to Manhattan. I'm currently at my sister's fortunate to be able to spend it with family.

I know some may not be able to even read this email for some days since power is out in many areas, we can't return home for some time or simply, because the last thing we are concerned about is how our email is doing.

Nonetheless, I just wanted to send a message to everyone and wish everyone well, I hope you are all safe and if there is anything I or anybody else in the group can do to help, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Stay safe everyone -

best,

Gus
