Hello Photographers,

Thank you to those who came out for Cathy’s Photowalk in Greenwich Village.

I don’t like to be a hard-ass and a complainer, but I need to stress the importance of arriving to my meetups on time.

I understand that things happens with traffic, mass transit, etc., and they are out of your control - it happens to me sometimes.  There are a few occasions that I received text messages later than they were sent.  But lately I’ve been getting way too many calls, texts, meetup messages and emails from people who are running so late (30-60 minutes late) that it becomes a distraction from me to host/assist the ones who did arrive on time, as well as my time to shoot photographs. It was also a distraction for Cathy while she was guiding a large group and trying explain the history of each site.

Please give yourself the extra time to commute to the events and be on time!! Check for delays and service changes.  Going forward, I will try to wait an extra 15 minutes for late comers but once the meetup starts, I will not answer any calls or texts.
