This group is not a platform for you to promote your band/comedy show/circus act. You may suggest meetups for such, but do not repetitively suggest events for such if nobody comes or if you are unable to actually organize the meetup.

Keep in mind, when at the events, that you are in a public location and are responsible for your own safety. Look out for yourself and for your fellow Redditors. Nobody will be there to police behavior, so take it on yourself to keep a safe environment.

If you decide to host a meetup in a venue such as a bar or coffee shop, and you don't want to cap the meetup, you need to notify the venue for permission first. You can't just show up with 20 redditors and expect everything to work out.

If you have posted an event several times and continue to get no attendees, please stop spamming the group. If there is no interest, there is no interest.
