Hey All,

The days when this group lie dormant are a thing of the past. We've got some exciting meetups planned and in the pipeline, so get ready.

First up:

In celebration of the release of Riak 1.2, we thought we'd get the community together for a drinkup.

Come join us for a few drinks and to talk Riak. You can expect to mingle with Basho team members, Riak production users, and other NYC area technologists.

Leave your wallet at home, the drinks are on us; just mention Basho at the bar and you'll be covered. Bring your hard questions, exciting stories and a thirst for some great conversation.

Also, for those who are interested: the day of this drinkup also coincides with an All-Day Riak Workshop at General Assemb.ly (http://www.eventbrite.com/event/3986385386/basho). If you've been curious about Riak but not sure exactly where to get started, this class is for you.
