A tour of riak.js
Details
Hi All,
Hope everyone had a fault-tolerant holiday.
We expect 2013 to be a big year for Riak, and to kick things off we're pleased to announce that Mathias Meyer will be discussing everything riak.js (http://riak-js.org).
If both node and Riak are your cup of tea, or are on your list of new technologies to explore in 2013, this one is not to be missed.
Due to building policies, full names of all attendees are required. If the name you have registered with meetup.com is incomplete or differs from your legal name as printed on your photo identification, please send an email to tom@basho.com after you RSVP.
As always, food and refreshments will be on Basho. We look forward to seeing you there!

A tour of riak.jsMathias Meyer (@roidrage (http://twitter.com/roidrage))
riak-js has had a pretty wild life so far. It's been rewritten twice, once in CoffeeScript, and a second time in pure JavaScript.
The complete rewrite in JavaScript is still an ongoing mission, but after a long absence of activity, it's finally come back to life.
It's due time for an update on what's changed, how it can be used to build Node.js applications with Riak, and what the future holds for riak-js.
