Introduction

I am a mother of 5 children who are mostly grown. I have always been interested in the metaphysical. I cook, quilt, sew, read. I like learning new things.

Have you ever had any psychic or intuitive training? If so, please describe.

I used to read professionally at the metaphysical store Gypsy's Tambourine in Staten Island NY , I also did private parties. I haven't read for anyone for about 3 or 4 years and I am trying to get back into reading again and I would like to read without the use of cards. Working in the store was really the only job I have ever felt really comfortable doing, and I felt like I was where I was supposed to be. I taught myself to read tarot and my friend Tula taught me to read a straight deck. I also took some mediumship classes in Beacon NY with the Colloege of Metaphysical Studies. I was trained in Reiki through Gypsy's Tambourine.

Have you ever had an experience you couldn't rationalize and suspect might have been a psychic or paranormal event? If so, please describe.

I hear thoughts in my mind that tell me things that happen to be true more often then not. Growing up, the house we moved into when I was 14 was haunted after my step brother messed with a ouija board. I have had readings that were dead on accurate. I also had a near death expierence when I was 23. I also see quick glimpses of spirit around sometimes.

Would you describe yourself as being a skeptic, a psychic, or neither?

I am skeptical because I don't believe everything I hear and I have to have some kind of proof that its true and I do use my common sense when something is totally outrageous. I also believe that I have abilities and they have been shown to me to be real.

What would you like to learn the most in this field?

I really want to learn how to communicate with spirit clearly. I want to learn how to read without the use of cards and just go with what I hear,see and feel. I really want to learn how to open up fully.

Is there something in your background or career that you believe is an added-value to this group? If so, what?

I have worked and studied the metaphysical for most of my life. I enjoy sharing and learning with other people.
