Out of Africa Tea & Sweets Pairing

Jo from A Gift of Tea (http://www.agiftoftea.com/) will host a pairing of four African teas and sweets (sweets may contain nuts and gluten):

• Kenyan White

• Kenyan Black

• Rooibos (Herbal)

• Honeybush (Herbal)

Jo has over 10 years of tea experience, is certified through the Specialty Tea Institute, and is a member of the Association of Tea Bloggers. She has presented at the World Tea Expo and recently hosted a tea & chocolate pairing at the NYC Coffee & Tea Festival.

This event will be hosted at the Andrew Freedman complex (http://www.andrewfreedmancomplex.com/) in collaboration with the Bronx Museum. After the tasting we'll have an opportunity to explore the building. The facility is easy to access from Manhattan via the B, D, or 4 trains.

This is our first outdoor event! We'll be seated at the SuperPuesto pavilion (http://www.bronxmuseum.org/exhibitions/terence-gower-superpuesto) located in the concourse.

If there is bad weather we have a backup venue at Houston & Broadway.
