I took a look at the past books that the group has read and liked what I saw. The group got great reviews, so that made up my mind. I hope I can contribute an interesting perspective about whatever we happen to be reading. I know that I can contribute my down-to-earth and welcoming personality.
Ernest Hemingway, Agatha Christie, Neal Stephenson to name a few. I read a lot of non-fiction as well.
For Whom the Bell Tolls is probably my favorite book.
As I said, I'm a former classical musician, so I am very enthusiastic about music and hearing as much of it as possible. I have two cats. I spend a lot of time at work but drag myself out of bed at the crack of dawn every morning to get my yoga practice in. I get along very well with coffee! I'm also a southerner - born in Louisiana, I grew up in North Carolina. I've been away from North Carolina since 2004, which is when I moved to Rochester to get my MM. After that I moved to NYC for law school.
Hi! I'm Jonathan. I'm a former classical musician who is now an attorney practicing in NYC. I do a lot of yoga, read a great deal, and love talking with people.
