Two shameless, useful plugs:
At thoughtbot we do coaching: http://coaching.thoughtbot.com/rails/. I
myself work a few hours a week in client's applications, helping them
solve problems and learn, and I'd love to continue doing it with more
programmers!
Similar to Aidan's Hacker Hours (which I also recommend), we are
hosting next Monday night the Ruby Project Night:
http://www.meetup.com/Ruby-Project-Night-NYC/. That is a great place
to teach, learn and have fun.
See you around!
Tute.

Hi all,
I've been learning rails on my own for about 10 months now and have
made lots of progress. I'm at a point where I could really benefit
from some mentoring. Specifically, I'd like to meet with someone once
a week for 60-90 minutes to go over specific problems I'm encountering
and/or reviewing code and refactoring it.
I'd prefer to meet in person in New York City but I'm flexible. I'm
also willing to pay a reasonable rate to compensate someone for their
time.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions for me.
Thanks.
Jordan.
