Hi there!
I would love the Groupon if you still have it!
In regards to your things, as long as you are moving back, you can declare those items as "personal belongings originally purchased in Canada" and you hand that to the customs agent/ attach it to the items.  When we moved back up, we had to make a list of what we were bringing back and you make sure it's on file with Canada Customs PRIOR to your sending it.  They will send you a form/instruct you how to proceed from there.  You won't have to pay anything on it, but you will have to contact Canada Customs.  Sorry I couldn't be more help!

I'm giving away another Groupon for free - this one is good for $20 at
Cucina Di Pesce (87 E 4th St.). It expires next Wednesday (Sept.
14th). A reservation at the restaurant is required. Tax and tip are
not included. I live in the D.C. area and don't have time to go to NYC
to use this Groupon. I've certainly learned my lesson about buying
out-of-town Groupons! But if I can make a fellow Canadian's day, then
it won't have been a waste. Let me know if you'd like the Groupon and
I'll email you the code.

By the way, have any of you mailed your personal belongings from the
U.S. to Canada using USPS? How did you fill out the customs/duty form?
I'm moving back to Canada soon, maybe temporarily or permanently, and
need to mail stuff that I can't fit into my luggage. I've owned some
of this stuff for years and it seems silly to declare it, especially
if I originally brought it with me from Canada when I moved to the
U.S. My internet searches on this topic didn't yield any clear answers
so far. Any advice would be appreciated.
