I just started doing my own ferments because I'm working on improving my gut flora. I don't know anything about fermenting really but sort of have a knack for it. I took one class with Angela Davis that was great and she mentioned this group.

I'm fermenting up a storm over here. Tower of ferment in my kitchen.
The organizers really know what they are doing and they have such a lovely loose format. Open, each person talks a bit about what you brought, tasting and mingling and a little round up at the end. Very low key, but packed with real info
