The average job posting on job boards and corporate websites has 20 requirements that job seekers have to match before they apply. Virtually all work with keyword search. If a requirement is one word (i.e. "marketing") then job seekers have to guess relevant 20 words and enter them into the keyword field to find job postings that match their skills and education. Fact is that job seekers enter on average 2 words into the keyword field matching, at best, two words in the requirements. This leaves 90% of requirement unmatched. If recruiters receive job applications from unqualified job seekers it is because of keyword search technology. My role as an entrepreneur is to develop technology to help job seekers find jobs where they match the requirements saving them and employers time and money.
