Selenium WebDriver Best Practices

Greetings, folks!

Wow, we are long overdue for a Selenium meetup. Hope you can make it out to Gilt Groupe on May 31st at 7pm for a WebDriver-focused event, featuring two great presentations by Ben Burton, Software Engineer at TheLadders, and Kevin Haggard & Steve Zaluk, VP of Engineering & Director of Test Automation (respectively) at Gilt Groupe.

Both presentations will cover WebDriver best practices, as well as lessons learned along the way in automated functional testing, so if you're in the process of implementing WebDriver at your company, this is a great opportunity to know if you're on the right (or wrong) path. And if you're not quite there yet and just curious about what WebDriver can offer, that's ok too! The presentations will blend technical content with broader automation strategies so there should be something for everyone, no matter your skill level.

Thanks to our friends at Gilt for offering to host, speak, and sponsor the food and drinks for this meetup. See you soon!

Loved the talks. Can I please have the deck for the preso given by The Ladders?

Loved the talks. Great energy and directly relevant to what I am currently working on. I was also able to connect with some great folks that I would have otherwise never met.

It was hard to read the Gilt presentation even though I was sitting fairly close to the front. All in all, though, it was an interesting meetup. I'm excited to learn more about TestElements in the future.

Enjoyed the meetup, great to learn some cool things around automated testing processes. It was a little hard to hear the speakers or see the screen at some points.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
