Announcing a new Meetup for NYC Metro Selenium Users Meetup!

What: Developing a full auotmated regression suite for a continuous build environment

When: Wednesday, September 22,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Pivotal Labs
86 Chambers Street Suite 704
New York, NY 10007

First, allow me extend you all a warm welcome to the NYC Selenium Meetup group. Thank you for your interest in and for joining this group! It's taken us longer than we wanted, but we've just now scheduled the inaugural meeting of our group. And special thanks to Pivotal Labs who has graciously offered to host this meet-up at their office. Won't you please join us?

By popular request, we will discuss how to develop a full automated regression suite for a continuous build environment. This talk will also cover cross-browser testing using Selenium, either on premise or in the cloud.

About the speaker:

Adam Christian responded to the challenge of cross browser JavaScript and DOM hacks by co-creating Windmill Testing Framework at the Open Source Applications Foundation in 2007. Since then, he has contributed as a senior and lead developer for web and test automation at Rearden Commerce, Mozilla, and Slide Inc. He is now the JavaScript Architect at Sauce Labs in San Francisco and contributed heavily to making automated Flash/Flex testing possible. He has spoken about test automation in many open source conferences and is en-route to Berlin to speak at JSCon.

6:30 - 7:15 Social hour; pizza & drinks
7:15 - 8:15 Main talk + Q&A (Adam Christian)
8:15 - 9:30 Wrap up / hit the bar :-)

The organizers strongly encourage us (in red) to charge participants. We strongly resist that idea. So we're asking everyone to RSVP responsibly so that those who truly want to attend will be able to get in and thereby allow us to continue the practice of not charging our members.
Thank you in advance!

Pivotal's office is in downtown Manhattan.
Nearby subway stops are the R,4,5,6 at City Hall or the 1,2,3 and A,C at Chambers.

Looking forward to meeting you!
