We've just scheduled the next NYC Selenium Meetup for Thursday, September 22, at Etsy. You should be getting an email about that soon, but I wanted to let you know that I've appointed Lindsey Baron co-organizer of the group. Together, we will be scheduling more frequent meetups and making this a much more active group.
For the next three months, we will be hosting meetups on the third Thursday of the month. The first event will be at Etsy, and the following events may be there as well or at different locations in the city. The planned topics are:
September: Selenium-Related Lightning Talks
October: Mobile Automated Testing
November: Selenium 2/Webdriver
But we can't do this without your help! We are looking for companies to sponsor food and drinks (September is covered), and we're also looking for speakers and venues. If you or someone from your company are doing anything interesting with either mobile testing or Selenium 2, please consider presenting at a future meetup. There is plenty of talent right here in this group so we'd love to leverage that and give people the chance to share what they know.
If you'd like to get involved in organizing these events or have ideas on how we can make the meetups even better, please let us know! Look forward to seeing you at a future meetup!
