Announcing a new Meetup for NYC Wine club!

What: Blind Tasting #2

When: April 3,[masked]:30 PM

Price: $5.00 per person

Where: Tasting World. Click the link below to see the exact address.

Hello Everyone,

This is very short notice but I'm putting together a blind tasting for this coming Friday for those of you who can make it. I have some students from my classes coming in so there are only 10 more spots for people who would like to join from our group.

1. Please know that BLIND TASTING IS DIFFICULT, even for the most experienced industry professionals. So please choose wines made from major grape varieties that are relatively easy to identify. The chances are that most people will not be able to guess what it is anyway.

2. Please bring something typical of what it is. If you are in doubt discuss with the store rep if the wine is a good representative of what it says on the bottle.

3. Please bring a good quality wine. This is a learning exercise and it is very difficult to learn from poor quality wines. If you like, you can team up with a group member and bring one bottle for the two of you. In such circumstances, make sure that the price of the bottle you bring justifies the sharing between two people.

The $5 charge is non-refundable. It is simply there so that people won't just RSVP and forget about it. Please be considerate of your group members and change your RSVP as soon as your plans change. If necessary, I will be removing 'Maybe' or unpaid RSVPs to make room for other people.
