Looking for Cable Show Panelists on Education

Hello NYEdTech Friends -

I'm part of a group of educators and creative people that have been experimenting with the concept of a playful show about all-things-education.  We meet at a TV studio every Friday evening, have refreshments, then record one hour of content in a professional 3-camera TV studio.  The show is called " Open Mic on Education"; we use the open mic as a metaphor for integrating performance art into classroom learning and teacher development.  We've filmed some really good episodes and some really lame ones, all soon to be available on our website.

I'm inviting each of you to attend and contribute to this important project by appearing on the show or by attending as audience.  It's lots of fun and educators really enjoy the content.  We need performers, panelists, technologists, vendors...  (BTW vendors are welcome to do short product demos and get a copy of the content for their own use. )

We meet every Friday evening at 4:30 for refreshments, warm-up, then we record an hour of content from 5 - 6 pm. Location is in the main studio of the Manhattan Neighborhood Network at 175 E 104th Street in East Harlem.  It's on E104th between Lex & 3rd; take the 6 Train to 103rd street and you're basically there.  It's great fun, totally free (wine & refreshments are served) and everyone gets a chance at the mic.  If you're not yet ready to perform, you can serve on our panel or be part of the live audience.

Contact me by phone or email if you have any questions or would like to RSVP.
