We are interested in fostering more healthy, comfortable and energy efficient built environments through the use of the Passive House building standard and methodology.   



Presentations at the Meetup will vary from broad general introductions to specific concerns of materials, systems and methods.   We hope the NY Passive House Meetup will make a meaningful and concrete contribution to the understanding of Passive House in New York. Meetup NYPH events are organized every month and the intention is to have them on Tue/Wed at 7pm.

NYPH members include PH consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, home owners, energy conscious NY-ers  and developers. By becoming a NYPH member($40), you support NYPH and get to go to all meetups for free and help us to create promote PH as a building standard in NYC.



The meetup members are people simply interested in finding out more about Passive House and besides NYPH members include all people simply interested in PH and would like to get updates of when/where NYPH events are taking place. Meetup members do pay a small fee, which helps to defray the cost of organizing NYPH events (again NYPH members get in for free).  So no matter your background, if you are interested in making more healthy, comfortable and energy efficient buildings, join today!
