NY Photo & Safari Meetup

Hi! Am Bill the organizer of this Meetup. You must be reading this because you like to know what this Meetup is all about. So let me explain as the organizer what my goals are with this Meetup are.

If I had to explain this Meetup with one sentence it would be “The NY Photo & Safari Meetup group main focus is to go to locations and events that are mostly in New York City to shoot photographs!”

Your skill level with a camera is not important to this Meetup. The type of camera you are using is not important as we have photographers with camera phones and film camera on our Meetup besides digital camera photographers.

If you have enjoy shooting photographs. If you want to visit places that you would not do on your own or never thought about to visit. If you want to learn to improve your photography skills learning from others. If you want to share what you know about photography with others. If you want to do all these things then this Meetup is for you.

I am not trying to be like other photography Meetups as many of Safari member just like me, also belong to other Meetups. I try to plan Meetup with a goal give the photographer the right photography ingredients they can shoot to create interesting photographs and the chance to visit places no one else goes to.

I do ask much in return from those who do go on our Meetups. Only to post their photographs after the Meetup is over and share/help other photographers during the Meetup.

So spend some time to look over the past Meetups and the photographs that were created from them. If you like what you see then join and answer the questionnaire as I read it.
