Save Coney Island Mermaid Parade - It Is On!

The Kickstarter program raised over $100,000 so the Mermaid Parade is offically on! Make your plans for June 22 to be at the parade. The only thing that can cancel this Meetup is the weather.

And thanks for anyone that made a donation. Even $1 helped!

This is not an actual Meetup where we go out and shoot photographs.

I created this Meetup to get the word out for those of you that want to support the Saving the Mermaid Parade or are not aware that it is in trouble.

My fear is if does not happen this year we New Yorkers might lose this photographer famous event for good!

I will be supporting the Kickstarter and I hope you will too! If you do support the Kickstarter then RVSP for this event to indicate you made a donation! I skipping taking friends out for dinner for three weeks and use that money to the Kickstarter.

Pledges start at $1 and please support this even if you did not plan to go because you will want to go at least once in your lifetime to photograph it.

June 4 is the day after the Kickstarter ends and we will all know if there is going to be a Mermaid Parade or not.
