NY Quantified Self Show&Tell #26

  • Sep 24, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Hello QSers!

Our fall meetup is Wednesday, September 24th. We're excited to reconnect after the summer.

Please come out and share your methods, results, and insights with the group during the Show&Tell talks or, if you're a toolmaker, during Demo Hour.

6:00 -7:00 pm Demo Hour

Come demo your gadget, app, or project and share with others in our "science fair for adults." Want to participate in Demo Hour? Please let us know when you RSVP or fill out this form for demo hour

7:00 - 8:00 pm QS Show & Tell Talks

This is our main event of the evening.

If you'd like to give a personal talk on self-tracking or self-experimentation, please let us know when you RSVP or fill out this form by Sep 15th: ttp://

We keep the length of presentations to 5 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A. If you have slides to show, feel free but it's not required. Giving a Show&Tell talk and our three prime questions.

8:00 - 8:30 pm Catching Up With Friends

Talk to the speakers, chat with new and old friends, ask other people what they're tracking, and generally hang out and have a great time.

An incredible space is generously being provided by Digitas, a digital brand agency that has watched and supported QS closely over the years.

We use meetup donations to pay for professional video recording, incidental venue costs, and awesome refreshments. If you or your company are interested in sponsoring NY Quantified Self, or hosting a future meetup at your office, please let us know.

We hope to see you on the 24th.

is there a list of the presenters? (a la NYTM?)
I'm trying to find the app designed to help people stay in touch with the "top 30" personal contacts that one wants to maintain as strong relationships. Thanks

Hey everyone! I was really impressed with the projects I saw on Wednesday too and it was really great to meet so much enthusiasm and so many ideas.

For those that gave me feedback on my project: thank you! Here's the link: and my email is [masked]. I'm looking for feedback and early adopters.

My apologies for running out of fliers for those who came by the Pushcart demo! Here's the link to the project again, for those who were interested:

If you were interested in doing something with the data we are collecting via the API, or just want to know more about the project, send me an e-mail at [masked]

Hi everyone. Will be at the 24th meetup. Am developing an app that helps users track the relationship between 'touch' (e.g. phone, face to face, message etc) and relationship health. Starting with a closed beta test for 100 users to gather data and feedback. Looking for volunteers and also someone with research/algorithm skills who might be interested in collaborating. Thanks so much in advance.
