NY Quantified Self Show&Tell #14 (NWC)

  • Oct 19, 2011 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Please come join us for another fun night of self-tracking presentations, sharing ideas, and showing tools. If you are self-tracking in any way -- health stats, biofeedback, life-logging, mood monitoring, biometrics, athletics, etc. -- come and share your methods, results and insight.

We'll use the half hour to set up for presentations but let's also use this time for re-connecting and sharing what folks have been doing. Social time starts at 6:30, not 6:00 for this event.

7:00 - 8:30 pm QS SHOW & TELL TALKS

We save the talks for personal accounts of self-tracking and self-experimentation, rather than sales/investor pitches. But of course we are also interested in tools.

Please let us know in advance if you plan to give a talk, so we can discuss how much time you'd like to take. Each presentation lasts no more than 5 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for Q&A. Talks follow our regular format: what did you do, how did you do it, what did you learn. If you have slides to show, feel free but it's not required.

An incredible space is generously being provided by New Work City. New Work City is a coworking space and community center for independents in Manhattan. They gather in a cozy shared environment to work, collaborate, learn, and socialize. All you need is some work to do and a friendly disposition!

We use the sponsor money to pay for professional video recording and some decent refreshments, as well as to fund projects that help the larger QS community. If you or your company are interested in sponsoring Quantified Self, please let us know.

Hope to see you on the 19th.

Thanks for all the great questions! A great pleasure for me telling about how I've been debugging my allergy.

Really diverse presentations, and a group who really cares about the topic.
