Why: Costs for website charged by Meetup and running the group
This meetup is for people who would like to explore New York’s “fine dining.” Please sign up for a meetup only if you are willing to make the same commitment to the group as if it were a date with friends or family. Members who reserve a spot, hold the reservation for weeks and cancel close to the date will not be allowed to sign up any more if this seems to be a pattern.
Restaurants we visited include i.e. Dovetail, Morimoto, Babbo, X2O, Cafe Boulud, Convivio, Telepan. Coming up in in December is Blue Hill, and next year will start with Bouley, Wallse and Public.
Blackberry and iPhone policy: If you have to make a phone call, please do it before or after the dinner. Otherwise, please leave your devices in your bag and NOT on the table.

Your organizer will refund you if:
- Your organizer closes their Meetup Group
- Your organizer removes or bans you from their Meetup Group
- The sign-up fee of $3 will be refunded if you update your reservation 48 hours before the event. If you cancel within 48 hours before the event, there will not be a refund. If the event requires pre-payment, the refund policy will be stated in the eve
