Natural Health Discussion Group 5.00 5.004

I started this group because I believe that what most of us are told about health can actually contribute to more disease, illness, and unhappiness. My mission is to educate people about how they can heal themselves physically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically by understanding and acting in ways that are consistent with nature's intentions for us.

I plan to share my research and experiences about natural health concepts with others who are interested in finding an alternative to conventional ideas about health. I encourage anyone who has an interest in healing themselves or helping a loved one heal naturally to join the group.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I saw many people who suffered from serious mental illnesses as well as chronic painful and debilitating diseases. What I learned from my work with clients and personal research was that conventional beliefs and treatments alone too often could not help people heal. In fact more people today will be diagnosed with autoimmune disorders, autism, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, and cancer than in previous generations even though we are spending more for health care today than at any other time in history (even when inflation is considered).

I am looking forward to meeting with like minded health conscious individuals to share and learn together.

I thought a discussion about the power of our thoughts would be a great way to start the new year. Many of us will set new year's resolutions to only give up on them after a few weeks. Most people will give up on their goals simply because they don't know how to use their thoughts to guide them towards their goal. What we think has a powerful impact on our lives. We will explore how our thoughts create our realities. Read more

What members are saying

We had a good discussion and everyone received information that they could immediately start applying to avoid GMOs.

I learned about techniques for safe carpet removal in a meetup with this group last week and used the method while removing carpet from my closet to install wood flooring last weekend
