This workshop is about changing the ways you use all your senses in nature. It comes from psychology, neurobiology, meditative traditions, my years in the woods, and the many people I have met who could sense things I didn't even know were there. This will be a condensed version of workshops I have taught that lasted much longer, but you will learn basic exercises and practices that you can use to hone your skills for the rest of your life. Whether your interests are birdwatching, photography, tracking, foraging, or just enjoying nature, you will be able to benefit from these new skills. This workshop is geared for adults, with some concentrated information, but interested kids 10 and older could enjoy it as well.

I chose this location because it has the facilities we need to practice without a lot of people around. There is a small pavilion we can use, but come dressed for the weather, as we will be out and about. I always enjoy teaching this workshop because every time I learn new things from the people participating. Hope to see you there. We will meet at the pavilion next to the pond, across the field from the parking areas.
