Parrot Cemetery Spiritual Walk

Details

Our outing for this month will be a bird spiritual walk highlighting the parrots of historic Greenwood Cemetery (http://www.green-wood.com/) in Brooklyn. As we walk we will have time for silence, discussion, reflections, poems, and oh yes, to see parrots and other birds! Given that we are in a Cemetery and also the time of year (Spring, Passover, Easter), our theme will be how spring and life follow winter and death. Thanks to Steve Baldwin for combining his monthly bird safari with the Meet Up groups of The Conservationist's Way and Nature as Spiritual Practice. For more information about the parrots, go here (http://brooklynparrots.com/).

We will walk for about 90 minutes. If you get lost, I'll have my cell phone: 914-325-9574.

For those who wish, we will meet afterwards for lunch and discussion at a nearby restaurant.

Parking is free (and there is plenty of it) within the Cemetery - park near the main entrance as noted above.
