Structr is an open-source software to create graph-based applications for web and mobile devices based on a Neo4j database. In addition to a fast performing Java backend using a type-safe object-to-graph mapper, a LINQ like query logic and an integrated REST server, Structr provides a UI with additional CMS functionality and a schema editor that allows to adapt the data model / schema at runtime.
In his presentation, Axel will give an introduction to the various components and the functionality of Structr. He shows in a live demonstration, how to create within minutes mobile and web applications based on Structr using Neo4j.
Axel Morgner is founder of Structr (http://structr.org/)—a free, open-source CMS and Content Management Framework based on the graph database Neo4j. He previously founded inxire GmbH, and was consultant and project manager at Oracle. After leaving the enterprise SQL world behind in 2010, he enjoys now being back to cutting egde technology every day. He’s based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
