The War on Cancer: Where we Are in the Battle, and Why we Haven’t Won.
These talks will be held from 7PM – 9PM in the Pfizer Auditorium at Harvard University.
I will be wearing a meetup pin and be there by 6:15. I will be just outside the auditorium doors gathering people. We should head in for seats around 6:30 or so in order to try to get seats together.
If you miss the group before hand, after the disucssion is over, we will meet again outside the doors of the auditorium in the hallway to discuss the lecture a bit, allow for restroom breaks and for those who are interested in grabbing a bite to eat and a beer, we can head over to John Harvards for further discussion and socializing.
This lecture is one of a series being put on by a wonderful group of people at Science in the News. They have a series of lectures in the Fall in the Longwood area, Science by the Pint where scientists mingle with intersted people allowing their brains to be picked mercilessly and now they are also sponsoring some lectures at the Havard Cambridge Campus. For more information about them go to their link:
Hope to see you there!
