September Meetup, Organizer Changes & More

Greetings Net Tuesday Nonprofiteers

There are some changes happening to the Twin Cities Net Tuesday group, so I wanted to make sure everyone heard about the exciting (and bittersweet) developments.

As you all know, our friendly organizer Nicole is moving on to bigger and better things - getting married, attending Grad School, and moving to Iowa. Jennifer, our other dynamic founding organizer, is also stepping back from the group due to her work commitments, although she will continue to attend our gatherings. I'm sorry to see them go, as they have both been great co-organizers (and friends), but I know they are up to very exciting things. Please join me in thanking them for their hard work!

In happier news, Meg Canada, who is a senior librarian at Hennepin County, social media extraordinaire, and great N2TC supporter has agreed to come on board as a co-organizer. I think Meg will be a wonderful fit with the group and I'm excited to have her here!

Lastly, our September has been scheduled. Kari Ruth, Online Communications Manager for the Minnesota Community Foundation and The Saint Paul Foundation will discuss an exciting new project - We'll be at MCN at 6pm on Tuesday September 8th. I hope you can participate in this conversation about transforming and inspiring giving in Minnesota.

PS. We may be on the lookout for additional organizers, so let me know if this is something you would like to do. And we're always interested in topic and presenters ideas.
