This Netflix OSS meetup will be focused on security and is intended as a venue for attendees to come together and share open source security software, controls, and strategies for an ever changing threat landscape.
In addition to Netflix speakers, this meetup will have presenters from Yahoo! and Twitter, and content will be geared toward presenting tools and techniques that have solved challenging problems, with the intent of sharing those strategies so you can implement them in your own organization.
In addition, Netflix will be announcing the release of two new Netflix OSS security tools, so make sure you attend to get the first look!

Justin Collins - Application Security Engineer, Twitter - "Using Brakeman and automation in practice in the SDLC"
Demetrios Lazarikos (Laz) and Tim Plocinski - Co-Founders of threatTRANSFORM - "Using threatTRANFORM for Managing Security Events"

Security Monkey - AWS security configuration monitoring and analysis (Netflix OSS)
Brakeman - Static security analysis for Ruby on Rails
FIDO - Malware defense automation and integration (future Netflix OSS)
Scumblr - Threat and intelligence research and analysis, including automation and workflow (Netflix OSS - to be released at event)
Sketchy - Scalable screenshot utility (Netflix OSS - to be released at event)
threatTRANSFORM - Streamline creating, compiling, and publishing STIX datasets.
ThreadFix - Application vulnerability normalization and management for commercial and open source static and dynamic tools.
