Let's talk about neurogaming. Where it is, where it's going. NeuroMusic edition.

This is the first NeuroGaming meetup so we've got a special treat! We'll get to enjoy a very cool slice of the neurogaming universe - neuromusic!

Richard Warp, a neuromusic pioneer and award-winning composer, sound designer and producer will share a live demonstration of brain-controlled sound.

We'll see this and then talk about how this technology could be included in game design and what it would mean for making amazing player experiences!

For the first 30 minutes we'll randomly change and have a very brief overview of the neurogaming space (technologies, companies) too.

This is going to be cool.

Very impressive for a group's first event! Thanks for putting this together! The space was great (thanks Yetizen), the demo was cool, and effectively zero technical glitches for a decently sophisticated setup. I understand that there were some folks from Emotiv in the audience, and it would have been nice to have heard from them, since their technology powered the demo. Probably lots of developers in the house, and I would not have minded a plug/intro/contact from the platform company along with some additional technical details. Looking forward to the next one!

I use Max/MSP/Jitter, which IMO is the best programming environment for audio visual interactive things. What language is this being done in ?

The idea of controlling sound with the brain is really intriguing, especially if it could be used as a new form of composition.
