Join us for lots of fun and laughs on Tuesday nights at 6:15 pm to check-in/pay/mingle then bowl from 6:30 pm until about 9:00 pm. We pay $12/week per person to bowl. There are many alley balls, in different weights and finger sizes, available for use at no cost. Shoe rental is available for $4 as well. We started this group in the summer of 2013 and get new people from all age groups all the time. Skill is not important; a great sense of humor and willingness to have fun with terrific friends are the only requirements. So come join us for a great night out every Tuesday. We are a Social Bowling Group (non-league) so if you cannot make it on any given Tuesday night, that is okay! You don't have to pay for any night that you don't bowl. This is an all-ages, very welcoming group for both men and women.

Please join us at Bob’s Pizza for some games, dinner and a few laughs. (Pizza, subs, salads.) Bob’s does not serve alcohol but you can BYOB. Some of the favorite games at this event have been Scattergories, Herd Mentality, Balderdash, Password, Pictionary, Yahtzee and Boggle. Feel free to bring a game you’d like to play.

Come at 5:30 to get a seat and chat a bit before the panel discussion begins at 6:00. A limited menu is available this evening. Remember the entrance to the restaurant is from the upper parking lot.

The Science and Solutions Behind Dark Sky Preservation:

The October Science Cafe NH session will delve into the escalating issue of light pollution and its detrimental effects on our environment, well-being, and our ability to appreciate the natural night sky. Participants will gain insights into the origins and repercussions of excessive artificial illumination, including its disruption of ecosystems, human sleep patterns, and energy consumption. The session will also underscore the significance of safeguarding dark skies for wildlife, cultural heritage, and scientific exploration.

Science Cafe NH is a public good intended to inform and educate New Hampshire citizens by connecting them directly with scientists and other experts in the field. SCNH has been hosting free, open sessions for over 14 years and attracts people to participate in a dialogue. Our goal is to help create a more informed New Hampshire. As always, Science Cafe NH is FREE and open to all. Our attendees can learn, ask questions and make a few new friends.
