What we’re about

Love to play games? Join us on Monday evenings. We meet every Monday at 7:00pm. We play all kinds of games--party, strategy, card and board games--join a game or bring your own game to share. All players aged 18 to 80 are invited! This meetup is part of the FAN Alliance. The FAN Alliance is a series of related general activities meetups. The FAN Alliance does not discriminate with the exception that you are expected to be an adult nor do we charge event or membership fees. The goal of this alliance is that it is a fun and safe environment for everyone. By joining you are implicitly agreeing to respect other members privacy. Both Singles and People in Committed Relationships are welcome! Special Game Event: One Long Heavy

Special event: Barcelona or another long game. The first few people to RSVP will have the option to play Barcelona. We will bring in more options as more people show up, possibly Boonlake or Federation (options may depend on who is available to teach).

If the first game finishes with time to spare, there may be an opportunity for a shorter second game, but no promises.

Participants must be vaccinated for COVID-19.

To limit my calories, this is a non-food event. Do not bring any food to share. You may bring some food for yourself if necessary, but generally folks should plan to eat before and after the event, not during. Beverages okay, water available.

Le Marshalate
American Legion, 38 Millville Street, Salem, NH, US
The Le Marshalate game club has been meeting for decades. Most current gaming is strategy (Euro) games, rail games, and war games. Regular meetings are on the third Saturday of each month in a rented room at the American Legion hall in Salem, New Hampshire. It is a good space with room for a two dozen people. (Many attendees do not RSVP here, so there may be more people than you see in Meetup’s RSVP count. I edit my guest count to estimate attendance, but it varies.)

Please join us for an enjoyable day of board gaming. The event is currently sponsored by members, and guests are welcome. The doors open sometime between 12:00 and 1:00, and filler games may be played before the main events. At 1:00, all games should stop so that people arriving by 1:00 have an opportunity to get into a game.

The hall is a 30-minute drive from Nashua. A GPS will take you along Route 111, but, if you would like a slightly more scenic/fun drive, head for Sherburne Road in Pelham first, and then let the GPS plot the rest of the route. It should take you along 38 to the back of the Mall at Rockingham Park.

The venue is carry in, carry out—please take your trash with you. You should be fully vaccinated two weeks prior to meeting. Please do not attend when you are sick.

(Sometimes there have been fifth-Saturday events, for which $5 is charged to cover room rental. These are not currently planned.)
