Group Meditation

Details

Meditation is a way to make the mind more stable and clear. From this point of view, meditation is not purely a Buddhist practice; it's a practice that anyone can do. It doesn't tie in with a particular spiritual tradition. If we want to undo confusion, we're going to have to be responsible for learning what our own mind is and how it works, no matter what beliefs we hold.

So 1st timer or long standing(sitting) practitioner are all welcome.

We will meet in the lobby of the center at 5:30 and look to sit by 5:45. We will meditate for 30 minutes. The meditation is open till 6:30 so if you want to participate but can't get there till later no worries come on in! There is no charge to meditate as it is an open sit in their shrine room.

Afterwards we'll grab a bite to eat or drinks.
