RSVPs open Jan 26th at 12PM

As promised we are holding another dining in the dark dinner party since the first one was a success!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with dining in the dark: dark dining takes away your sense of sight so your forced to use your other senses, creating a uniquely different dining experience.

How this event will work:

  1. While I wish we could keep our apartment pitch black that will probably result in a lot of broken items, so we will give everyone a blindfold and trust you guys not to peek!

  2. We encourage you to bring wine and cocktails (what is a party without it!), but no red wine will be allowed while you are blindfolded. We don't want stains everywhere!

  3. Everyone will bring a prepared dish to this party. You can make whatever you want, but we encourage you to bring something with a combination of flavors that people usually would not think to combine. We will not reveal what we made until the end of the dinner. If you have dietary restrictions please let us know so that you will not be served anything that you can not eat. At the last dining in the dark dinner party we learned that 8 courses is a lot of food! Please prepare so that there is only a tapas size portion for every one. It is more than enough!

  4. Everyone will be a server once. We will serve everyone's dish one at a time. When it is time to serve your dish you will remove your blindfold and serve everyone.

We will provide blindfolds. but if you prefer to bring your own please feel free to do so.

For this event we will all sit at one big table. Therefore space is limited. If you don't make it in this time, we will have another one.

The fine print:

Cancellations: Please be 100% committed to attending this event, and cancel 48 hours in advance. There is limited space and each member puts in a lot of time, effort, and planning into each of these events. Late cancellations affect the group as a whole. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or are a no show you could be removed from the group.

*We have a small 7lb Yorkie Poo named pepper. He is hypoallergenic and super friendly. If you have a problem with dogs please refrain from attending this event.
